Breaking Out

“Arratisja / Breaking Out” is a publication centered on the experiences of Martin Çuni and Muhamer Shabani, former political prisoners of Yugoslavia. Drawing on interviews, the book follows their joint attempt to escape the Prishtina Detention Center. Due to the scarcity of textual and visual documentation, the publication relies entirely on the recollections of Çuni and Shabani, with interviews reworked into first-person narratives.
