“Croprising: Bad Gardeners and Good Weeds – A Guide” is an eclectic collection of fiction, illustrations, research and documentary texts based on the community garden of Bostanie in Skopje. This collaborative and interdisciplinary project was spearheaded by writer Hana Korneti and illustrator Ivana Chaloska, who were involved with the garden from its inception. They worked in collaboration with Dimitar Samardjiev, a coordinator at Bostanie. The book examines the principles of permaculture that underpin the garden’s creation and the way change was fostered by the community at an individual level.
